Outpatient or Clinical Coverage
This coverage provides you with free choice to visit any GP doctor, specialist or Hospital you wish.
This Coverage typically includes:
· General Medical Practioner and Specialist fees.
· Prescribed Medicine as well as Medical Equipment
· Diagnostic tests (Lab, X rays,MRI etc)
· Optionally it can include complementary medicines such as Physiotherapy, Homeopathic, Chiropractor and Acupuncture treatment
· Outpatient Surgery
· Home Nursing
· Psychiatric treatment
Plan may also include the following coverage:
Emergency Evacuation
Covers the cost of transportation to the nearest medical facility where accurate medical equipment is available to treat the condition. This includes emergency evacuation by air.
Repatriation
Covers the cost of travel to repatriate the patient in his country.
Dental
Dental coverage is usually of two types:
Routine Dental: e.g polishing, scaling and normal compound fillings.
Major Dental: Removal of roots, bridge and crowns work, root canal treatment.
Maternity
Maternity has a waiting period before coverage which means conceptions can only occur after at least 3 months after the health plan starts.
